Chatted face to face with Brad Abrams and Jonathan Wells...

I had the opportunity to meet and chat with Brad Abrams today. Brad Abrams was a founding member of both the Common Language Runtime and .NET Framework teams at Microsoft Corporation where he is a currently Lead Program Manager and has been designing parts of the .NET Framework. Our team at HP, invited Brad to review our work and I enjoyed every bit of the conversation that we had with him. We planned a rigorous schedule for Brad and picked his brain the whole day. He is such a down to earth guy. He listened to our concerns patiently, reviewed our architecture and provided valuable feedback.

Earlier this week, I also had the opportunity to meet Jonathan Wells. Jonathan is the Program Manager for Winforms, Smart Client, .NET Compact Framework and Mobile Technologies. Our team at HP scheduled a face to face meeting with Jonathan, and we spent two plus days reviewing our architecture. Although we threw a lot of stuff at Jonathan but the cheerful guy that he his, he always had a big smile on his face. It was great talking to him about the Smart Client architecture strategies. I thoroughly enjoyed his company during the brainstorming sessions that we had.

Thanks, Jonathan and Brad for your valuable time, feedback and advise.
